AP Patches All-purpose patches, badges & pins

01 / The right patch for a club

Where is it going? That decides the patch and the backing.

Kit gets washed every week, training tops get ironed in a hurry, blazers want something flat and fine. Pick by where the crest is going and the price stays the same for embroidered and woven.

Not sure? Upload the crest on any product page and choose either. We check it on the proof and say if the other type would hold it better.

06 / What clubs ask

Before the season starts

Anything else, email sales@appatches.co.uk.

Can we order different sizes for juniors and seniors?

Yes. Each size is its own line in the basket with its own minimum of 50, priced from its own column. Most clubs find one size works across the squads, 70 or 80 mm on a chest, and save the second line for bags at 100 mm.

Can we add a sponsor, the season or a player name?

Yes, but each version is its own design with its own minimum of 50. The usual answer is to keep the crest fixed and order the sponsor or the season as a separate small patch, so next year only the small one changes.

How long before the season should we order?

Allow time for the proof, 4 to 6 weeks of making from the day you approve it, and time for delivery. Put your date into the checker on How it works and it tells you the day your proof needs approving.

Can the club pay by invoice?

Yes. Choose invoice or purchase order at checkout and we send an invoice in the club's name. We email an invoice when you order and start your proof once it is paid by bank transfer.

Will the crest survive the wash?

Sew-on patches survive weekly washing. Iron-on bonds well on cotton and polycotton; for match kit that is washed every week we recommend sewing round the edge as well. Hook-and-loop patches come off before the wash.

Can you match our club colours exactly?

Send Pantone references if the club has them, or the kit supplier's colour codes. If not, we match thread to the file or photo you send and show the thread colours on the proof.
